Hyperconnectivity is the use of many systems and devices so that you are always connected to social networks and other sources of information. The team is studying the effects of hyperconnectivity on the brain. [Definition taken from Collins dictionary]

With consumer and industrial IoT peaking up, sensor technology getting advanced and cheaper, the focus is on enabling an effective and efficient device connectivity. In this post I aim to collate research themes progress in which take us few steps closer to the hyper-connected world. Watch this space for case examples in this areas.

Beyond these research focus areas, I would call out 5G. The hyperconnected world is a future in which
5G networks have been widely and globally deployed, and in which the normal, day-to-day functioning of
society depends on billions of connected devices having highly reliable, low-latency connectivity.
